15.1.0. Scope
15.1.1 The scope shall include complete control and instrumentation for all equipments and various auxiliaries system covered under this specification but not limited to the following :
- The micro processed based PLC system covering the total functional requirements of sequential control, interlocks and protection, monitoring, alarm, data logging fault analysis etc. for some of the major station auxiliary systems are as follows :-
(a) Ash handling system
(b) Coal handling system
(c) Compressed air system
(d) Plant water system comprising of CW and ACW system & D.M. Make up water, service water system, Water treatment including chlorination plant.
(e) Fuel oil unloading and handling system
15.1.2 Control panels/ Desks, operating consoles, control cubicles, junction boxes marshalling racks etc.
15.1.3 All field instruments i.e. transmitters, RTDs , thermocouples, local gages, flow elements etc. complete with impulse pipes/ root valves etc.
15.1.4 All secondary instruments for remote monitoring
15.1.5 All cables which special cables compensating cables , extension cables, instrumentation cables etc
15.1.6 Complete UPS for 240V AC and power distribution board
15.1.7 24V DC supply along with DC distribution board
15.1.8 All erection hardware for process connections , impulse piping, isolating valves etc. for field instruments.
15.1.9 Actuator for valves..
15.1.10Plant communication system comprising of public address system, paging / inter connection and telephone system (EPABX and walkey talkies)
